Curatorial Note:
The Woman's Missionary Society reports from the 1910s and '20s mention an annual picnic for the children at the park. The 1914-15 report comments on a successful "union picnic" at Stanley Park, indicating that children of the Japanese and Chinese missions were taken to the park in May. This photograph may be the Japanese Sunday school, or perhaps a union picnic.
