Curatorial Note:
The Christian Endeavour was a movement that grew out of the United States in the 19th century. It was a non-denominational association of young people. The Vancouver Japanese Christian Endeavour Association began in the mid-1890s and grew into the Methodist mission that established itself as the Powell Street Church (1906).
