Correspondence reveals how seriously Dr. Percy Bunt regarded his role in protecting the personal effects of the Powell Street congregation members while members were interned during the war. Several sources indicate that items held at the Powell Street Church were among the least affected by the Custodian of Enemy Alien Property's attempts to dispose of property.
