Curatorial Note:

This is the final report of the Powell Street Church Young People's Society before the church was closed. It reveals the wide range of social activities, conferences, and fund raising efforts that the group undertook. It also mentions three joint meetings with the West Point Grey Young People's Society--no doubt a result of Rev. K. Shimizu's efforts to foster integration of the Nisei within the wider community.
