Description: These minutes indicate that the Woman's Missionary Society (WMS) Advisory Committee on Japanese Missions decided to open a kindergarten in 1911.
Curatorial Note:
Miss Preston was the WMS staff person at the new missionary residence at 652 Keefer Street, Vancouver. At that time, she coordinated the WMS work among both the Chinese and Japanese Methodist churches in Vancouver. In 1914, she would be replaced by Jessie Howie.
