Curatorial Note:
This worship bulletin is from what was probably the last worship service together as a congregation at the Powell Street Church. By June 1942, Rev. K. Shimizu had already gone on ahead to the internment camp at Kaslo. The newly ordained Rev. Takashi Komiyama assumed full pastoral leadership of the congregation, and remained at Powell Street until the church closed in late September that year.
